Well if you have never read any of my posts and are reading this then you will see by my 10 verses here that I am trying to point out things in the Bible that do not really add up the way they should concerning Jesus. 1. (Zechariah 13:4-8) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive: 5 But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman: for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth. 6 And one shall say unto him, what are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

2. (Rev 19:10) And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

3. (Isaiah 9:1) Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. 2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. 3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

Now one thing I would like to point out about the above verse is how it seems as though people are all of the time trying to misquote it or just downright change the entire verse in order to make it fit how they want it to fit. I was astonished one night when I was looking for it on my browser, and I was not sure where it was exactly at that time, and I kept seeing all of these websites that had the verse completely wrong. I kept on reading through them and thinking in my head that I must have lost my mind!

I literally thought for a minute that I had completely gotten it wrong on how I had interpreted it. I even went and got my Bible out and reread the verse just to be sure. There were that many people on there talking about this verse, and completely telling about what it said wrong! I do most of my reading of the Bible from the King James Version. And I have even checked other Bible translations to see if perhaps the King James Version had it completely wrong. And no I was not crazy or completely misinterpreting it. It says exactly as I have posted it up above. How he afflicted Galilee of nations more grievously than he previously had.

And it does say how the people who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death had seen a bright light. But it also goes on to say how he had increased their numbers, but had not increased the joy. The sites I saw on the web that night were saying how he had brought joy to the land of Galilee, and were completely leaving out the afflicted the land more grievously part. They were also leaving out the parts about how he increased their numbers but not the joy.

I mean if people are going to ignore the verses in the Bible that make no sense or are pointing to Jesus as being something different than what everyone says he is, then ok, I get it. It is each persons choice on how they want to view the Bible and how they want to practice their religion. But all I am saying is that they should not be completely changing the wording and intentionally leaving out parts that they are explaining to people on the web. Because that is very much the same as lying. And it is also very misleading to new people who perhaps know nothing about the Bible. And if you cannot sell people on your religion by telling the truth about what it actually says, then you should not be trying to sell your religion to anyone in my opinion.

4. (Isaiah 9:15) The ancient and honorable, he is the head; and the prophet that teaches lies, he is the tail. 16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, and they that are led of them are destroyed.

(Rev 13:4) “And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”

5. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2) Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye not soon be shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

6. (1 Corinthians 10:9) “We should not test Christ, as some of them did–and were killed by snakes. And do not grumble, as some of them did–and were killed by the destroying angel. These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.”

7. (Isaiah 57:8)Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou loved their bed where thou saw it.

8. (Ezekiel 22:25) “There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. 26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.”

9. (Hebrews 8:13) “In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.”

10. (Philemon 1:1) “Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer.”
